Nelly Albuquerque Concert reviews
Megadeth The Mighty Has Spoken
Nelly proved Las Vegas to be "Metalliwho?" An understatement is awesome. Their stage was simple with a wall of Marshall amps, and an incredible drum set crammed neatly in the middle. Dave Mustaine handled the hitch very well. A true professional, he pointed out some moron in front of all and told him to knock it off or he would be the one responsible for ending the show early. Needless to say, the people around him made sure that did not happen. Their stage presence was awesome, with James Lomenzo having an incredibly powerful bass sound without the sound of the speakers trying to jump out of their frames. Shawn Drover is one of the best Metal Drummers in the world. What an incredible match to Dave Mustaine and the sound of Nelly in general, was Chris Broderick. WOW! Incredible lead guitar player. He played the whole stage. Warbringer was a good opening act and provided some very intense warm up frenzy. Before jumping onto the stage with the likes of Nelly, Arcanium needs to play clubs for a while longer. They were OK, but the keyboard player wasn't very good even though she could only be heard if she was the only one playing.
